Ames, Iowa: Sigler is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Vogel as its new Chief Executive Officer. Vogel has worked with Sigler for over 20 years, serving in several different roles throughout its many departments before being named President in 2019. Through her experience, she has been an integral part of developing Sigler’s processes and operations leading to the company’s overall success.
Vogel will succeed Ron McMillen, the owner of Sigler and former CEO. McMillen will continue to oversee the business by serving as Chairman of the Board.
“Michelle has practically grown up with this company and has made an incredible impact in her time here so far,” said McMillen. “I have no doubt she will maintain that momentum and continue achieving the vision my family had for Sigler.”
Vogel will continue building Sigler’s company culture and planning strategies for all its capabilities, finances and brand development while fostering relationships with client partners, vendors and community leaders.

Together we will continue to prioritize our mission, live our values and strategically grow this great company built by the Sigler family.”
The announcement of these leadership changes comes as Sigler celebrates its 65th anniversary this year. Sigler officially opened its doors in 1958 at the home of Mel and Edna Sigler who began operations with a small collection of rubber stamps to provide print services to the local Ames community. McMillen, their grandson, took over as CEO in 1972 and grew Sigler into the fully-integrated commercial printing facility it is today – serving clients nationwide.
